Beartown Tap

This multi-award winning three roomed pub which dates back to the 1790`s  has a warm and friendly atmosphere that is a reflection of the efforts that Julie and the staff have put into making the Brewery Tap the place it is today.The Tap is one of the venues for the towns annual Jazz and Blues Festival each August and was also proud host to the new Congleton Unplugged event. The upstairs room is available for functions and meetings and is used by many local groups ranging from Congleton Cycling Club to Poems & Pints. 

Alongside a selection of  six beers from the Beartown range and an ever changing guest, there is traditional cider, and a range of Belgian, German and World beers. 

In this welcoming environment, darts play a prominent role with the Tap playing home to the local league`s champion team and also providing a venue for Super League Darts. We also host some more unusual events throughout the year such as Snail Racing, Conkers and a giant onion growing competition. Every month has something going on and with the brewery just over the road, it is also the end destination for all brewery tours.
